AURORA FELDE (violin), earned a B.A. at Queens College, N.Y. She then went on to study with Ernst Morawec in Vienna and completed her violin studies with Ivan Galamian in N.Y. She has recorded with numerous professional groups and toured extensively as concertmaster with Robert Shaw throughout Europe and North America. She also holds a Masters Degree from the Bank St. College of Education in N.Y. She has played with the VSO, the CBC, and the VOA orchestras and has taught at the Waldorf School. In addition to her performing activities, she teaches privately at her home in West Vancouver.
BARBARA IRSCHICK (viola) obtained her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from UBC and then went to New York and Toronto for further study. In Ontario she played with the Windsor Symphony for six seasons and also played with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and the Thunder Bay Symphony. Since returning to Vancouver she has played with the Vancouver Opera, the Vancouver Symphony, and Sinfonia. She teaches violin and viola privately and is a coach for the Vancouver Youth Orchestra.
AUDREY NODWELL (cello), earned her Bachelor of Music degree at UBC. She received her Master of Music degree in Cello Performance from the University of Victoria, and studied cello at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich, Germany. A former member of the Victoria Symphony, she is currently on the faculty of the Vancouver Academy of Music.
